Suzie is a violinist, conductor, and educator. She teaches at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department, where she is the conductor of the Senior Strings Chamber Orchestra. She freelances with orchestras around Europe, the USA, and Australia, and performs regularly with her son Jacob Collier. She is an accredited adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Festivals and travels the world directing courses for string players of all ages. Suzie offers a wealth of artistic interpretation, technical prowess, and a unique approach to the emotional and communicative aspects of learning and performing music. She has been awarded an ARAM for outstanding services to the violin profession.
