Ola Stanton Violin
Ola Stanton’s musical journey began when she was seven years old and started playing the violin. Her first violin teacher, Sharon Doyle, brought her love of music to life. As she progressed through primary and secondary school, Ola’s musical experiences and achievements grew, as a soloist, a chamber musician, and an orchestral musician.
In her final year of secondary school, Ola attended the Junior Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (JRCS). This musical experience, as well as lessons with Bernard Docherty, inspired Ola to pursue a musical career.
Today, Ola is a third-year undergraduate, studying as a violinist at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). With her violin teacher, Stephen Wilkie, she is blossoming into the violinist she was always meant to be. Furthermore, Ola is discovering her passions, such as music education and therapy, plus musician’s health and wellbeing.
Since she has been at the RNCM, Ola has completed a professional placement with Songbirds Music UK and is passionate about continuing to utilise her musical talent to support people. Moreover, she has been assisting with RNCM Young Strings and is eager to begin her musical teaching practice. This is her first year as a Benedetti Ambassador, and along with her other musical endeavours she is on her way to creating an abundant musical career.
