Louisa Grantz piano
Louisa Grantz is a German pianist based in London. She earned her BMus in Performance Piano from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Music, Mind & Brain at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Louisa's musical journey began at age six under the guidance of Ivone Bambirra. At 15, she earned a music scholarship at Dean Close School in Cheltenham, where she enhanced her skills in piano, viola, violin, and chamber music with the Carducci Quartet. Throughout her time at Trinity College, she continued her piano studies with mentors such as Gabrielle Baldocci, Peter Tuite, and currently Alisdair Hogarth.
Louisa has extensive orchestral experience across Europe, performing with conductors such as Kent Nagano and Anna Meredith, including highlights like performing at the award winner concert for child protection attended by Auma Obama. She has also earned numerous prizes, including the first prize at the official youth competition of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Additionally, Louisa pursued studies at the London Songwriting Academy, engaging in the world of music production. Currently, she focuses on advancing her career as a pianist while exploring the scientific impact of musical frequencies on well-being through her classical compositions and ambient piano music.
Moreover, Louisa loves music education and teaches piano privately, having previously worked at a scholarship-based organization for children. She is excited to be part of the Benedetti Foundation's Ambassador Program, where she can further share her love for music and help educate and inspire others
