Laura is a 21 year old Scottish musician from Glasgow. Currently studying piano and music education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Laura has just completed her third year of study.

Laura has been passionate about music from a young age. Growing up in a musical household, she was surrounded by music and this is where her love of it first began. She started her own musical journey at the age of six by learning the clarinet and at the age of eight, she chose to learn the piano as well. An accomplished singer, Laura loves singing in choirs. She enjoys the gift of performing and has delighted audiences on both instruments and voice. Laura’s eclectic taste in music includes classical, musical theatre and traditional Scottish music.

In 2022, Laura completed a six month period of study at the University of Melbourne. This was an incredibly enriching experience with Laura being introduced to a new repertoire of Australian music. On her return, she was appointed a Creative Learning Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation and is now thoroughly enjoying her second year in that position.

Aside from music, Laura loves travelling and meeting new people; going to the theatre and concerts; and spending time with friends.
