21 year old Emily is currently studying music on the BMus course at the University of Glasgow. Her main study is clarinet but Emily also plays piano, sings and has achieved Grade 8 saxophone. Throughout school and music academy junior programs, Emily relished her involvement within ensembles. Emily is passionate about the idea of creating music for others to enjoy.

Emily began learning the piano and singing as a child through church and has been inspired throughout her life by her father, who is a professional pianist. His hard work and dedication drove the keenness of her learning and passion within music. Throughout her studies at university, Emily has explored and developed her interest within composition.

Teaching and sharing music with young people is another passion of Emily’s and creates such joy for both the children and myself. Music really is so special and powerful in so many ways.
