Eleanor Moore Soprano
Eleanor Moore is a primary school teacher and classically-trained Soprano from the North-East of England. As a young musician, Eleanor attended Sage Gateshead’s centre for advanced musical training, where she performed at The Houses of Parliament, The Royal Albert Hall and Sage Gateshead. Eleanor was awarded a BA Honours in English Literature and Music at Newcastle University in 2014, a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2016, a PGCE in Primary Education in 2018, and recently graduated with a MMus Performance distinction from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2022, under the tuition of acclaimed mezzo-soprano, Anne Mason. In 2022, she also studied Italian opera at the Conservatorio Di Musica E.F. Dall’Abaco in Verona. Eleanor has previously performed as a chorus member of Chisinau National Opera, the BBC national orchestra of Wales, Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Voices of Hope, NYCGB, InterOpera, OperaSunderland and Cardiff Opera. Eleanor was a member of Samling Academy in 2012 and 2013 and has performed as a soloist in ‘Rosina,’ ‘Dido and Aeneas,’ 'The Cunning Little Vixen', the world premiere of 'Ava's Wedding', 'Parsifal', 'Don Giovanni,' ‘The rape of Lucretia,’ ‘Orlando’ and ‘L’incoronazione di Poppea.’ Eleanor has five years classroom teaching experience across three key stages and has a strong interest in increasing accessibility and inclusion within music education and youth performing arts, particularly for children from lower socio-economic groups or marginalised areas.
