Alice Lessmann Flute


Italian-German flutist Alice Lessmann enjoys a diverse career, blending her passion for music performance and education with her love for foreign languages and literatures. She is particularly interested in multidisciplinary performance and intercultural collaboration, believing strongly in the power of music as a universal language.

Alice recently earned a master's degree with distinction from the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg under the guidance of Prof. Alice Morzenti, after completing her bachelor's degree with Michele Marasco, Andrea Oliva, and Nicola Mazzanti at the ISSM Vecchi-Tonelli in Modena, supported by several excellence scholarships. While studying at the conservatoire, Alice also completed her bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Civilizations in Parma (Italy).During her time in Germany, Alice immersed herself in the European musical tradition, refining her technical and interpretive skills. She has a keen interest in contemporary music and loves exploring the flute's diverse capabilities. Specializing in orchestral music, Alice has performed with prestigious German orchestras, including the Philharmonisches Orchester des Landestheater Coburg, the Orchester der Opernfestspiele Heidenheim, and the Philharmonisches Orchester Würzburg, to name a few. Her career is enriched by experiences with national and international youth orchestras like OGVE (Italy) and the European ESYO.

As a chamber musician and soloist, Alice has performed in major venues across Emilia Romagna, including the Pavarotti Theatre in Modena and the Regio Theatre in Parma, and at festivals like "Festival Entroterre” and many others.

In addition to her performance career, Alice is a dedicated flute and music teacher. She conducts regular workshops and manages her own projects in schools in Italy and Germany, significantly refining her teaching and leadership skills. As a Benedetti Foundation Instrumental Ambassador, she continually enhances her teaching through workshops and ongoing research
